Watching a rerun of the American show. Season 6 episode 16, "Coda," involves an autistic 10-year-old who witnessed a shooting, and the disappearance of his parents. Anyone have info (beyond IMDb) about the boy who plays the autie?

i've just encountered a really sensitive NT Mum on an allergy board that i recently joined. Her undiagnosed son sounds like a typical Aspie to me.  It would be interesting to have a second (and third and fourth...) opinion from you guys.

I'd never heard of her until the latest Celebrity Apprentice, currently on tv. I saw Mr. and Mrs. Peete on NBC's "Today" show just recently...did anyone else? (Info and video on TODAY site.) PS. For the record, I am deleting my "Aspergers Is Autism" icon, with the blue AS puzzle piece on it. BOOOO!

Lately I've noticed that whenever I adjust the tv volume at home I increase/decrease it to the nearest 5 or 0 (45, 70, etc). Then at work if someone is dropping off film to be developed at my photo lab, I almost always put the pick-up time as #:00, #:15, #:30, or #:45.

Is this an Aspie thing?

As Gary McKinnon is diagnosed with Aspergers, I expect his story has featured here before, but the latest development makes depressing reading. UK government polititians have no backbone :(  The extradition treaty appears to be a one-way street.

It is an interesting portrayal of 3 young men in their family setting. Two or maybe all 3 are aspies.

 I didn't know I had any autoimmune diseases, then. And I do know that I have kids who do not have Autism and I know others who have autoimmune disorders far worse than my own who have children who are neurotypical.

My husband had traits and I seem to be pretty much AS, although I don't have a diagnosis.
